Today's hearing aids come in 2 different styles. Behind-The-Ear (BTE) and In-The-Ear (ITE.) BTEs are most suited for new hearing aid users with a mild to moderate hearing loss. ITEs are recommended for experienced hearing aid users already accomstomed to wearing this style.
